Zion 2013

We love to go to Zion!! 

When I say we I mean mostly me but my family loves me enough to enjoy it too. =) 

We had a great time and loved the warm weather! The only draw back was the dumb caterpillars that always decide to visit while we are there. Hundreds of them!! I didn't take any pictures because I hate the idea of them and don't want to ruin my memories of my happy place. I didn't take time to put all the pictures in order but anyway... Enjoy the pictures!!

April 6 General Conference getaway!!

Alexys and myself were able to get tickets at the last minute to attend the Sat. morning session of conference. What a great morning it was. So happy we could go. It really lifted our spirits to be there. It's been a long winter and a much needed spiritual getaway. =)

Well it has happened!! I am the parent of an adult!! Wow.... 

I am so proud of Alexys and the woman she is becoming. I have truly been blessed with a wonderful daughter and she is going to do wonderful things in her life. 

 Katie wrote on her present to Alexys all by herself.

Alexys had her Spring concert this month. She did a great job as always. haha This is her pulling one of her goofy faces at her Dad.

We had a lot of sick days in March but we managed to have a few good days in between. One weekend Craig's friend was married up in Big Sky but I didn't get any pictures because I left my camera at home. But   we did have a good time. Me Craig and Katie went and we stayed in West Yellowstone for two nights. Craig had to go to an early rehearsal on Saturday so Katie and I enjoyed the morning at the pool and then we went to the Bear and Wolf Discovery center across the street form our hotel. Later when we went up to the wedding Katie was a bit put out when she saw Craig walk down the isle with the Brides daughter. She was not very happy about that. After the wedding we went to the reception and ate food and danced. Katie was so tired by the time we left that her eyes were literally going crossed. haha Pretty funny.

Alexys stayed home that weekend because there was an 80's themed dance. She went with a boy from our ward. I wish we had been here to see it all but she took the camera I had left behind and took some pictures. I think she depicted the 80's pretty well. lol

EASTER!!

With Easter being the last weekend of March it always comes so fast. 

Katie has been very excited about it. She was very excited about going to the egg hunt. She only got 3 eggs by the time it was over but she was thrilled!

 You would never know she was the same age as these kids around her. She is 11 and she was with the kids that are 10-12 CRAZY!

 She had them down her shirt because she saw other kids doing it. But she forgot to keep them from falling out the bottom. So 3 was here final count. =)

I like the look of our eggs before we boiled them. The reflection on the pan was pretty cool looking. I'm easily entertained. =)

Ashton Dog Derby 2013

We decided to head to Ashton today and  watch some dog sled races. Well we didn't really get to see any but we took our dogs with us and so did every other person around. ha ha It was fun to see all the different dogs. We registered our dogs to be in a weight pulling contest. Jetta was in class C and won her division but Charlie had a big division and tried his hardest. It was fun. Jetta won a huge box of dog treats and Charlie won a small bag of dog food. They also each got a Frisbee, a ball, and some more little treats. Pretty good day for the dogs. =)

Updated!!!!!!

So I have finally updated my Blog. It covers the last about 7 months. You may notice that I didn't do a  post on Christmas?? Well both the girls were sick with the stomach flu that day so I didn't get any pictures. Not a fun day to be sick. Anyway it feels good to be back on track and now I guess we will see if I can stay on top of it again. 

Alexys recorded some of her songs with my cousins son. 

So excited to get some done.

 He is a very talented young man and we all know I think she is too. (Young lady I mean.)=)
