Two weeks down and only 530 Days to go!! Who's counting though right?!

Well I'm excited that Alexys is still powering through the MTC, but this is going to be a very long 17 1/2 months. I wouldn't have it any other way but it is going to test me to my limits for sure. Katie misses her "Ya-Ya" but she is pretty happy regardless of what life throws her way. Craig is struggling but tries to hide it. I'm not sure why some guys think that it's a bad thing to show your emotions. Oh well. I just take it day by day and write a lot of letters. =) haha

And she's off!

So we sent Alexys off on her mission last week. I have to say besides saying goodbye to our son this was a close second for most difficult things to do. I'm so happy and excited for her but WOW! I was not ready for it. 

She is going to make a great missionary! I made a blog to keep all of her letters and pictures on for her to see when she returns. If anyone that might still read this blog wants to follow it you can find a link to it to the right. =)

She has blessed my life so much and brought me more happiness than I could ever express. I have to let her go so that she can bless the people of Oaxaca, Mexico too. I'll try to keep both blogs up to date.

And that is our Summer in pictures. I wish I had taken my camera everywhere with me. It's our last Summer with us all at home and I'm going to miss it. I know there will be many more memories to come but this is a closing of a chapter in my life and the beginning of a new one.
